Yet the most common way of keeping a share register is manually, either analogy with pen & paper or digitally in excel or word. As you can imagine mistakes are made and therefore time spent on administration is way out proportion limiting the usage of the underlying data.
A digital tool fully committed to keeping and automating shares and derivatives represents tremendous opportunity as a service for this very purpose but also by facilitating and administrating trade in an exploding private market.

As a Senior Front-End Developer and a key member of our small team your main tasks will be,

Key Skills

• Strong understanding in JavaScript and TypeScript, with the ability to architect complex frontend solutions.
• In-depth knowledge of HTML and CSS, focusing on scalability, modularity, and design principles.
• Expertise in modern front-end frameworks such as VueJS, ReactJS, or Angular, with a strong preference for VueJS.
• Extensive experience of Web Components, with experience in structuring large-scale web applications and enforcing component-based architecture.

Preferred Skills

• Good knowledge with GraphQL, particularly using Apollo Server for managing data flow between the frontend and backend.
• Experience with service-oriented architectures, ideally with the Moleculer framework, for handling microservice-based frontend integrations.
• Proficiency with MySQL for data-driven front-end development.
• Familiarity with the Quasar component library or similar UI frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with deploying applications on cloud platforms, particularly AWS, with a focus on scalable and resilient front-end hosting solutions.
• Knowledge of containerization, including Docker, and its role in creating consistent, scalable front-end development environments.
• Exposure to Redis, especially Pub-Sub and Streams, to handle real-time data and internal service communications.

Additional Qualities

• A quick learner with the ability to adapt to new technologies, including the current stack.

Our Current Stack

• Frontend: VueJS SPA with the Quasar component library, hosted on AWS (S3 bucket).
• Backend: Apollo GraphQL Server using the Moleculer framework, with Redis for internal communication.
• Database: MySQL.
• Cloud: AWS Elastic Beanstalk for backend hosting with standalone runners consuming Redis Streams.
• Monitoring: Opentelemetry, NewRelic.

This role will involve driving the front-end architectural vision, focusing on scalability, modularity, and aligning with best practices across our stack.
